W Furniture, a store dedicated to indoor and outdoor furniture, is starting fresh.
To usher in the new era, its staff hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house event on Wednesday, March 6 with the Clovis Chamber of Commerce.
The business, which opened about a year ago near Sierra Vista Mall, decided to merge its two stores in order to better serve customers, according to owner Michael Flanagan.
“We’re capitalizing on patio furniture,” he said. “There are no patio furniture stores in Clovis, so we offer that here. Plus, all of our shopping is done in catalogs.”
The concept, Flanagan says, is simple: “We send you a catalog, you pick something out, and I’ll give you a price. We then bring it in, build it, and deliver it. It’s kind of like Amazon but we take the hassle out of it.”
In addition to furniture, customers can also shop for above ground pools, outdoor game tables, umbrellas, unique custom signs and other items.
W Furniture, located on Shaw and Sunnyside avenues next to the former Toys R Us building, is open daily.
