Roadway improvement projects to be presented to City Council

Three significant roadway improvement projects intended to improve the flow of traffic and increase the safety of drivers and residents are scheduled to begin in early summer of 2019 in the City of Clovis.

Members of the public and media are invited to attend the Monday, April 1 session of the Clovis City Council at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber where details on the following projects will be released:

  • Widening of Willow Avenue northbound lanes from Shepherd Ave. to north of International Ave.
  • Traffic signal at Shepherd Ave. and Minnewawa Ave.
  • Multi-lane roundabout at N. Temperance Ave. and Alluvial Ave.

A new video created with the goal of informing drivers and residents on the locations and dates of the upcoming projects will also be shown. 

Copies of the video will be made available to members of the media in attendance. Video will be posted to the City’s web and social media pages Tuesday.
