In a community that rises early, a good breakfast restaurant is a must.
Now under new management, Old Town Waffle has a tasty variety of breakfast and lunch specials to tempt your palate. Country biscuits are freshly made and baked daily. Old fashioned American food is prepared and cooked with quality produce.
Along with the light and fluffy waffles are a wide range of early morning favorites: Omelettes, crepes and pancakes come with a choice of toppings or fillings. French toast, cereal, country potatoes, sausage and bacon are just a few other popular items on the menu.
The Old Town Favorite is an all day (until 2 p.m.) breakfast that includes three fresh eggs, choice of potatoes and choice of toast, English muffin or biscuit.
Ready for lunch? Delicious sandwiches, home style burgers, fresh soup and salads are possibilities, along with the daily luncheon special. Beverages include coffee, tea, juices, milk, soft drinks and milkshakes.
There are “senior” selections on the menu and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
Originally established in 1960 and located in the Barnyard Shopping Center, this family friendly restaurant has a cozy country vibe. The décor and overhead wood beams give a welcoming and comfortable feeling for guests. The proximity to Old Town Clovis encourages a leisurely walk or window shopping.
“Berry medley waffle was delicious!” said Danielle, a visitor from Anaheim, CA. “The staff recognized multiple parties that came in which was a nice family feeling. Our waitress was very nice.”
