Magnolia Crossing, a senior assisted living community based out of Clovis, recently received a perfect five-star rating for following standards and guidelines relating to senior care facilities.

“It’s like an audit for job performance to see if we are compliant with all the rules and regulations required for assisted living facilities,” said Ana Karen Godinez, Wellness Coordinator at Magnolia Crossing. “Since we’ve only been open for a year, this was our first audit. Usually they find some discrepancies, but, luckily for us, because we’ve been working so hard, our findings were none.”

Since opening a little over a year ago, Magnolia Crossing has received multiple awards including the 2017 Outstanding Planning Award in the Planning Project category. Presented by the American Planning Association, the award recognizes vibrant and healthy communities.

Godinez wants to make sure everyone receives credit for the achievements.

“The credit goes to our staff – everyone from our office clerks to our administrators,” she added. “We all work as a team to make sure things are running efficiently.”

Magnolia Crossing is located at 32 West Sierra Ave. between Villa and Clovis avenues.
