Fresno County Libraries Reopening with Limited Services

Beginning Monday, May 18, the Fresno County Public Library will be reopening with limited services at most of their branches.

Residents will have the ability to place holds by phone, check out materials, mobile printing options, and more. Each of the services will vary from branch to branch.

Due to the current pandemic and the safety of the public, only staff are able to enter the libraries. Library services will take place outside of the libraries with specific pick up times. Patrons will have to call ahead and make arrangements.

“The Fresno County Public Library appreciates our community’s patience and understanding as we navigate through unchartered waters at this time in bringing services back to our community.  We ask that you call your local branches for more service details, please adhere to social distancing practice thoroughly and take all precautions to protect yourself from the COVID-19 virus,” states County Librarian, Raman Bath.

New hours of operation and schedules for each branch is available on their website, www.fresnolibrary.org. FCPL’s online services are still available 24/7.
