This 5k run is a fundraiser for the Clovis Community Cross Country/Track and Field program. Unlike traditional local 5k races, this race will feature a team aspect. Participants will be divided into two teams: City of Fresno Residents vs. non City of Fresno residents (Clovis, Madera, Sanger, Kingsburg, Visalia, Hanford, etc.). All 5k participants will be on one team or the other based on their address indicated upon registration. Exact scoring procedures will be determined the week of the race to ensure that a large percentage of participants contribute to the team scoring.
