California Curling Championships
For Immediate Release
We are happy to announce the dates for the 2019 California Curling Championships, to be held in Fresno California on the dates of April 26-28, 2019, at the Gateway Ice Center.
The California Curling Championships are open to anyone who is a resident of California. Teams are comprised of curlers meeting that requirement, and are attending from all parts of California.
We have expanded the scope of the Championships since 2018. The following categories will be competed for:
Men’s Division
Women’s Division
Senior Division (50 plus years)
Mixed Doubles (2 players per team – introduced at the 2018 Olympics)
Curling draws begin with games at Noon Friday April 26, 2019.
In addition to grow interest in the sport an additional division called 2& Under has been added for new curlers having them curl in an event with curlers with 2 or less years, experience.
Admission is free.

The Granite Curling Club of California is a social and recreational club whose mission is to develop and grow the Olympic sport of curling in the state of California. All efforts to put this event on are volunteers.
Fresno and area residents are invited to come learn how to play the game on Sunday April 28, 2019 at
530pm. Cost to participate $25.00.
