Dority Insurance, a brokerage firm based out of Old Town Clovis, has joined forces with DiBuduo & DeFendis, one of the largest independent insurance firms in the state.
The news was announced Monday, Mar. 11 during a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Clovis Chamber of Commerce.
Scott Dority of Dority Insurance couldn’t be more excited about the merge.
“I’m really proud of the merger with DiBuduo and DeFendis,” said Dority, who has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry. “Both Matt and Mike DeFendis are absolutely phenomenal people. They do a great job. They’re a character-based insurance agency – and a very large one at that. The merger and opening of D&D in this Clovis office is going to be a plus for our community.”
Dority and his staff are specifically looking forward to applying their expertise in group health and workers’ compensation to D&D’s structured levels in loss control, marketing, and claims.

The new office of DiBuduo & DeFendis Insurance is located in the Centennial Plaza area of Old Town Clovis.
