Fresno County Public Health Department has reported 52 additional COVID-19 cases totaling 724 as of Tuesday, May 5.
There has been an additional death, bringing the county’s total to 9.

- Parlier – 30
- Huron – 19
- Firebaugh – 19
There are currently 462 active cases of COVID-19 in the county. 253 people have recovered from the virus. 110 have been hospitalized.
Out of the total number of cases reported, 280 were community spread or originated from an unknown source, 44 were travel related, 293 were spread by close contact and 107 are still under investigation.
