COVID-19 Updates: 813 Total Cases in Fresno County, 279 Recovered

The Fresno County Public Health Department has reported 36 additional cases of COVID-19 cases, totaling 813 as of Thursday, May 7.

No new deaths have been reported. There has been a total of 9 COVID-19 deaths in Fresno County according to the FCPHD.

  • San Joaquin – 4 or less

There are currently 525 active cases of COVID-19 in the county. 279 people have recovered from the virus. 118 have been hospitalized.

Out of the total number of cases reported, 311 were community spread or originated from an unknown source, 44 were travel related, 324 were spread by close contact and 134 are still under investigation.
