Clovis Suspends Utility Bills

The City of Clovis made an emergency order March 31 to suspend late fees, penalties and interest for all city utility bill payments.

The order was made to provide financial relief to businesses and residents who are struggling because of the COVID-19 crisis.

The city also suspended the assessment and collection of late fees and penalties for all tax certificate fees owed to the city.

The city previously announced that it would suspend water shut offs in an effort to assist those affected by the crisis.
