The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare facilities across the state and country.

In an effort to help relieve the shortage, the Clovis Rotary Club donated and delivered 2,000 face shields that it purchased from local printing company Dumont Printing, which recently reconfigured its facility to produce the PPE to help fight the novel coronavirus.

On April 23 and 24, members of the Rotary Club of Clovis distributed the equipment to many healthcare institutions, such as Valley Children’s Hospital, Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, Hines Hospice, Community Cancer Institute, cCare, Visiting Angels, Kingston Bay Senior Living, Magnolia Crossing, Sierra Villa Assisted Living, and Golden Living Center.

To those that wish to help Clovis Rotary Club in its fight against COVID-19, the club requests that people send donations to Clovis Rotary – P.O. Box 496, Clovis CA 93613-0496; checks should be made out to Clovis Rotary.  All donations will be used for COVID-19 relief.
