The Avon store is on the move.

After 10 years at the original 429 Pollasky Ave. location, owner Craig Heilbut decided to relocated the beauty supply store to the Ivy and Lace boutique space just a few doors down.

Heilbut initially planned to close the business and retire, but his loyal customers convinced him to stay open.

“By popular demand all you customers refused to let me retire, so we are here for all your Avon needs. Thank you to all my customers for asking me to stay open,” Heilbut said in a Facebook post.

Tagging along on the move is Jazzy Snaps, a snap jewelry businesses run by Joyce Purcell inside the Avon store.

“Many loyal customers were dismayed to learn that the good old Avon store was being leased to a new boutique, but the good news is we’re just a few doors down from the prior location,” said Purcell.

The Avon store is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
