I’m writing today to let you know about some changes happening here at the Roundup. We’re growing, and that means we’re changing. Don’t worry, we promise we’ll still provide you with the best quality news we possibly can. We don’t want to leave you in the dark or let you down.
The change to which I am referring is a change of editor for our paper. While it’s always hard when a teammate finishes a chapter of their life and starts the next, it does happen, and we have to be willing to go with the flow. It just so happens that our editor of just over a year has decided to move on to her next adventure, and so we bid her goodbye and good luck.
The mantle has now passed to me, and this is why I am writing to you.
At this point, if you have been following our paper, you have seen my name pop up in a few places. Mainly, you have seen me launch True Equestrian, and bring to you all the latest in the realm of the horse. You have also seen me write on events at Clovis Community College, as well as other odds and ends pieces scattered throughout the paper.
It is with great excitement that I rise to this new challenge of being your dedicated editor and curator of all things Clovis. With the support of our team here at the Roundup, I am confident that ours will remain a good-news community paper that will shine as a brilliant beacon of hope and encouragement to you, our reader, every time you pick it up.
With excitement for the future,
